Frog Day

10am - 3 pm

SAVING OUR FROGS

Frogs are some of the most fascinating little creatures around.  Sadly, their numbers are declining rapidly mainly due to habitat loss.  You can help stop this!

Bring the family along to Wirrimbirra and learn just about everything you want to know about frogs.  Find out how to attract frogs to your garden, and get answers to your frog-related questions.

There’ll be displays and activities right throughout the day, and a wildlife expert will have plenty of information and hands-on opportunities for everyone. (See photo on the right.)

Look for the display of frog-friendly plants in Wirrimbirra's Native Nursery, and say hello to our resident native fauna – kangaroos, wallabies, emus, wombats, cockatoos, tawny frogmouths, and rainbow lorikeets.

For a coffee or a light snack visit the White Waratah Café, or if you are after some lunch the Wirrimbirra BBQ will be fired up.

Entry to the sanctuary is free, but, by dropping a donation into the bucket on your way in, you will help the work at the Sanctuary continue.

A study in rapture
